Background: Coming up with metaphors that can truly capture your love for mom can be harder than a pornstar penis. Recently, there's been uncreative ones like "love you like a love song" or "love you like a fat kid love cake." Like really fam? You have to copy and paste your feelings as well as your final essays? Nah fam. We gonna love our mom (maybe yours too) like a thug loves thuggin. It can't get more better than that for Mother's Day.

The sound used in the card is the intro from “The Next Episode" which is a rap song by Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Kurupt. It was originally released in October 1999 by Aftermath Entertainment as the lead single off the album 2001. You might've of seen it as the meme "Smoke Weed Everyday" featuring Snoop Dogg dancing usually featured in MLG videos.

Thug Life Remixes are YouTube videos that typically begin with preadolescents using overly confrontational or expletive language, followed by a freeze-frame at a close-up image of the subject and an instrumental fade out to Dr. Dre’s 1992 gangsta rap song “Nuthin’ But a G Thang.” The first example of this was “Thug Life (nerf gun review)” uploaded by YouTuber lolonym on June 13th, 2014.

These videos also inspired the “I didn’t choose the thug life, the thug life chose me” image meme which clowns White suburban stereotypes.

If you about the thug life & you out here thuggin, you should thank your mom on Mother's Day for birthing you to these streets. She's the true OG. Respect.
